We begin our journey in awesome city of Rome, discovering the historical gems and cultural pleasures the Eternal City has to offer. Traverse through Italy’s other colourful cities, including Venice, where you can indulge in genuine Italian pizza and a enjoy a genuine Italian Gelato or 2 or more……

Continue through the great cities all of Italy – Florence and Venice and continue through the Alps and on to the picturesque city of Salzburg and the former Hapsburg Empire capital – Vienna.  We move eastward to the Hungarian Capital BUDAPEST, where we will enjoy a cruise on the blue Danube.

We than head north to the spectacular city of Prague if – seeded to be the home of the best beer in Europe!  Turning west we travel through Germany and on to Amsterdam whit its famous canals before we hit south to the city of love Paris, traveling through the small towns of France across the English channel on to London and a wave to the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Itinerary

01 SUN. Rome Arrival.
TODAYS HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Trastevere district.

Welcome to Rome! Upon airport arrival, we shall be waiting to transport you to your hotel. You will receive information for the start of your circuit in the afternoon or this will be on the informative signs in the hotel reception.

At the end of the evening we arrange a transfer to Trastevere area. This neighborhood will be a great introduction to Rome, a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the Trastevere district reveals hidden treasures to us, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life.  Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area. Return to hotel.



02 MON. Rome.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and  Vatican City.

In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive con­struction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna­tional food. Return to hotel.



03 TUE. Rome - Florence.
TODAY’S HIGLIGHTS: Tour with a local expert from Florence. View from Piazzale Michelangelo.   

We will leave Rome, heading north. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in FLORENCE, we head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, an impressive site in the city. In the evening we provide a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historic centre, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at your favorite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.



04 WED. Florence - Venice.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vaporetto boat on Venice’s Grand Canal. Visit and admission to the St Mark´s Basilica. Admire the technique of crafting Murano Glass.   

Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. Arriving in VENICE, we will board a Vapporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic centre. With a local guide, we will visit the marvellous St Marck´s and enter the marvellous basilica (entry cost included). Afterwards, we shall be able to visit the Murano glass factory. It is marvellous to see the technique how this ancient glass is made. Free time.     

At the end of the afternoon, you will have the chance to eat dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose the type of restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).



05 THU. Venice - Verona - Salzburg.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Breathtaking landscapes.   

We will depart from Venice, travelling to VERONA. We will provide a shuttle from parking to the historic centre.  Our guide will instruct us on the places where you will be able to walk in Romeo and Juliet’s city - the city of lovers!

Afterwards we continue the journey between mountains  to Austria.  SALZBURG, our guide accompanies us to the most beautiful streets of the historic centre of this city declared a World Heritage site. 

Note:  In case of few travellers on the trip, the journey from Verona to Salzburg may be done partially by a train. 



06 FRI. Salzburg - Vienna

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vienna city tour. Gardens of the immense Schönbrunn Palace. 

We will leave Salzburg to reach Vienna at around 12.00 hrs, Directly,  we head the Schönbrunn Palace where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens.  After a time for lunch, we start a scenic visit around this impressive city with a local expert. Here, we experience its majestic avenues, its palaces and the vibrant city centre. 

In the evening we go to the City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets, and where you will have time to dine in line with your preferences   (including Austrian, Chinese, Indian and Italian).



07 SAT. Vienna - Budapest.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour with our local expert in Budapest   

We depart for Hungary. Arrival in BUDAPEST, at lunchtime.  Discover the “Queen of the Danube” on a scenic tour of highlight. This city is divided by the Danube, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli­tan “Pest” on the opposite bank. There will be time at the end of the day in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of little restaurants with food from different countries (Indian, Chinese, Hungarian and Italian).



08 SUN. Budapest.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS. Boat tour on the Dan­ube River. 

In the morning, we will include a boat tour along the Danube River; the views of the city and parliament are impressive. Leisure time after the tour. At the end of the afternoon, there will be time to enjoy dinner in the city and travellers can select their preferred restaurant. 



09 MON. Budapest - Bratislava - Prague.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS. Time to explore Bratislava. Czech landscapes.  

We will leave Budapest for BRATISLAVA, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. Time to see the city and have lunch. After lunch we will continue on our way to the Czech Republic. PRAGUE - At the end of the afternoon, we provide transport to take you to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and touristic activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.



10 TUE. Prague.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river.  

Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Vltava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). Return to hotel. 



11 WED. Prague - Lauf - Wurzburg - Frankfurt.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Bavarian Landscapes.

We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city.  Our journey continues towards FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre and choose your favorite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and so on). 



12 THU. Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rhine cruise included.     Today we include a small CRUISE ON THE RHINE, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR; undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque sector. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland. AMSTERDAM – arrival at the end of the day - . 

13 FRI. Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam- Marken- Amsterdam.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:   Picturesque typical village of Volendam.  Boat on the I Jsselmeer lake. City tour of Amsterdam.    

Today we have a very exciting  and beautiful day. We will go to ZAANSE SCHANS with its mills, its canals and its typical houses .  VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. From Volendam, on a short boat trip we will go to MARKEN, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dike, their houses were built on stilts. In the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of AMSTERDAM to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and parks, and will also see the technique of diamond cutting.  Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants from all corners of the world. It is very likely that you will have heard about this neighbourhood.



14 SAT. Amsterdam - Brussels - Bruges - Paris.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Feeling Belgium. 

We will leave for BRUSSELS, and will have time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in BRUGES, the marvellous Flemish city known as the ¨northern little Venice¨. Time for lunch. Continuation to France. PARIS, arrival at the end of the day.  



15 SUN. Paris.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:  City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.  Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer.           

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.            

Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday).     

At sunset transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel.



16 MON. Paris - Rouen.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rouen historic centre.          

We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum.  Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris.

At around 17:30 hrswe will leave Paris for ROUEN,  city museum with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches.  Accommodation in the city.  

17 TUE. Rouen - Eperlecques - Canterbury - London.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: World War II bunker. Ferry crossing to United King­dom. Evening transfer to Camden district.          

 We set off to the north of France. In Eperlecques we visit a huge bunker in the middle of the forest (admission in­cluded). From this point, V1 and V2 missiles were fired to the UK. Next, we leave on a ferry across the English Channel to reach CANTERBURY, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic centre. Continuation to  LONDON  We provide transfer to Camden, a district famous for having one of the most varied and extravagant street markets in London. Time for dinner in this area with numerous ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Chinese, international, and so on).



18 WED. London.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit London.  English Teatime. Transfer to Soho.

Get to know LONDON on a locally guided tour featuring style, cul­ture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lon­don and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous “Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). If you wish, later on, we recommend that you go to the “London Eye” ferris wheel.

In the afternoon, at 5pm, after a period of free time, we invite all our travellers to a traditional Afternoon Tea.   

In the evening, a stroll through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho, with its atmosphere, its theaters and its entertainment. Sit down for dinner at your preferred restaurant (Indian, Chinese, Thai, in­ternational, and so on) in the lively  district.
